Hirohiko Araki is the author of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and several other works as well. He was born 7th June 1960, and had his first manga, Poker Under Arms, released in 1981, when he was only 20. In the next few years, he then also released more works, including Say Hi to Virginia in 1981, Outlaw Man in 1982, Cool Shock B.T. in 1982-1982, Baoh: The Visitor in 1984-1985 and Gorgeous Irene in 1985-1986.
It was in 1987 that Araki began writing JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, which has become incredibly popular and influential, with over 90 million copies in circulation at the end of 2018, and still going. Since starting JoJo, Araki has written several spin-offs, including Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe, Dead Man's Questions, and Oingo Boingo Brothers Adventure. There have also been a couple of non-JoJo related works since, which include Under Execution Under Pressure and Dolce and His Master.
Founded in 2007, this Japanese animation company eventually went on the animate the popular JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Anime in 2012 onwards. While they didn't produce anything on their own for a few years; Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2, and Soul Eater, were both assisstants; but they finally made their own series in 2009 - Ristorante Paradiso, Dogs: Stray Dogs Howling in the Dark, & Tatakau Shisho: The Book of Bantorra. It was in 2012 that they animated the first two Parts of the series, 2014 that they began Part 3, 2016 that they began Part 4, and 2018 that they started Part 5. In the interim years, of not doing JoJo's, they have made other series like Cells at Work! in 2018, and Hyperdimension Neptunia: The Animation.
